Last night I went to the Detroit Design Awards for the first time. It was a great event honoring top Design talent in our area. No Beige Days took home 2nd Place for Repurposed Furniture…which was so special because the piece I submitted was my Great Grandmother’s chair that I inherited and made my own. It was also so special because it was my first time submitting to an awards competition as well. I’m pretty stoked to submit more colorful spaces and pieces next year! Thank you to @margaretsupholstering for the beautiful work! ❤️
